In the past I wondered what could I do

What could I do to better serve you

What is my gift, my ability to serve

And if I find it would I have the nerve

The nerve to reveal it and share it with others

To bare my soul to my sisters and brothers

Putting myself in a position of vulnerability

Because I'm trying to share my ability

But then I remember that it's not about me

It's about the Lord and I must tell of his glory

So I started to write poems and such

And I pray that my mind, the Holy spirit will touch

Touch me to write from the scriptures I've learned

To be accurate and true so his trust I will earn

Trust me as I attempt to spread the "good news"

And not express my own personal views

So I study Gods word everyday

Seeking his wisdom so I can help people along the way

Words of guidance and encouragement
